Chicken Lasagna-Recipe

Ingredients: 

For Chicken Filling:

  • Chicken: 1/2 Kg (Mince or in cubes)
  • Oil: 2-3 tbsp
  • Garlic (Lehsan): 1 tbsp (Chopped)
  • Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper: 1 tsp (Crushed)
  • Mixed Herbs: 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato Paste: 2 tbsp
  • Tomato Ketchup: 4 tbsp
  • Capsicum: 1/2 Cup
  • Salt: As Per Taste

For White Sauce:

  • Butter: 2 tbsp
  • Milk: 2-1/2 Cups
  • White Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • All-purpose Flour: 2 tbsp
  • Oil: 1tbsp
  • Salt: As Per Taste
  • Mozzarella Cheese: As Required
  • Cheddar Cheese: As Required

For Assembling:

  • Lasagna Sheets: 8-10 (Boiled as per Pack's Instruction)
  • Chicken Filling
  • White Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese: As Required
  • Cheddar Cheese: As Required
  • Chilli Flakes: As Required
  • Mixed Herbs: As Required

Procedure:

For Chicken Filling:

  • In a pan, add oil and heat it. Add chopped garlic, and sauté for almost 2 minutes.
  • Add chicken mince and cook until it changes color.
  • Add tomato ketchup and tomato paste, mix well.
  • Now add salt as per taste, red chilli powder, black pepper and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add mix herbs as required, capsicum and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now set aside.

For White Sauce:

  • In a pan, add butter and oil, let it melt, add all-purpose flour and mix it.
  • Now gradually add milk and stir it continuously so that there will be no lump.
  • Add salt, white pepper powder, half quantity of cheese (Mozzarella and Cheddar).
  • Cook until the sauce thickens.

Preheat the oven at 180°C (350 F).

For Assembling:

  • Grease the baking dish with butter. Spread the chicken filling and white sauce and cover it with lasagna sheets.
  • Now, repeat the same process.
  • Sprinkle the leftover cheese (Mozzarella and Cheddar).
  • Sprinkle some red chilli flakes and mixed herbs on the top.
  • Bake for almost 25-30 minutes at 180°C or until the cheese changes its color to light golden.

Your yummy and delicious Chicken Lasagna is ready to eat.
